This saddens me...

Unfortunately, my worst nightmare has happened yet again. Photobucket now is saying that I am using too much of their bandwidth to host my pictures with them. YIKES! Don't worry though...this time we have made the code versatile and your background will never be affected in the future.  I wish we had known about this fix before this happened, but we really had no idea it would happen again. Now we're ready!

If the background currently on your blog has an image saying your background will be removed you will just need to find your old background (or a new one) and grab the new code before August 1st. Please make sure to delete the old code as well.  If your background has the HBB tag your background is fine and ignore this warning! :)

I am so very sorry for the inconvenience.  As you may have realized this has happened to most major free background sites and it is a real big bummer.

If you cannot find your old background please email me with the old background code and I will give you the new code.

    Thanks for the heads up. I tried using one of the new codes, but I get an error message. It says "403 Forbidden The file removed due to violation of ImageShack Terms of Service or by user request". Am I doing something wrong?

    one of the backgrounds I tried.. the code didn't work... the background didn't show up. it was the red background with the sunflower on the ribbon, so I just used a diff background instead

    And truly, no apology is needed. You make all this pretty stuff available for free, then when something beyond your control goes wrong, you fix it and provide clear, simple instructions about how to make it better.

    I can't be the only one thinking I should get this kind of service from people/companies I pay money to!

    I changed my code and saved it several times. It does not stay. I only have a green background. Also where do I change the colors of my blog now. I cannot find it where it used to be.. :)

    I switched my background code, but now on my blog it doesn't load. My background just shows up as white. I tried loading your other backgrounds and they will load but it takes 10 minutes.
